Transformation is the most arduous and rewarding process of Peti Bombom Farms projects. It is one of the key factors in the multiplication strategy, as the entire process is laborious, requiring high investment and specialized techniques to transform an unproductive area into a highly productive property, capable of producing up to 10 tons of food per hectare.

Initial Preparation Operations:

This operation is carried out with an agricultural implement that has metal discs that cut and turn the soil, decompacting and leveling the surface. This step is essential to prepare the soil to receive agricultural inputs.

Soil Correction with Limestone:

This input is a mineral whose main function is to correct soil acidity and provide calcium and magnesium to plants. Limestone also helps improve the availability of other nutrients, such as phosphorus and potassium.

Intermediate Grid Operations:

This operation is carried out with an agricultural implement that has smaller discs than those of a heavy harrow, which mix the limestone well with the soil. At this time, we also began the operation of collecting sticks and stones, to eliminate obstacles that could harm the planting.

Collecting sticks and stones:

Between these grid operations, we began the operation of collecting sticks and stones.

Application of Brachiaria and millet:

These are forage plants that help structure the soil for direct planting. These plants form a vegetation cover that protects the soil from solar radiation, rain and wind, in addition to providing organic matter and fixing nitrogen in the soil.

Area suitable for agricultural cultivation:

After the operations, the area becomes suitable for agricultural cultivation.

Producing area:

Após passar por todos os processos a área inicia sua fase produtiva, agora apta a produzir culturas de primeira e segunda safra.
