Independence Project Agriculture and Real Estate, Investment Business was founded in 2018, the result of Junior's big dream of expanding his investments in the land market and helping other investors.
At the end of 2018, Junior traveled to the state of Tocantins, where he discovered an excellent opportunity: Fazenda Tocantins, which had extensive areas of degraded pasture and significant potential for agricultural use.
Given this scenario, Junior faced the challenge of attracting investors willing to support this initiative. He connected with several businesspeople in São Paulo, Salvador, giving face-to-face presentations to explain the business model to professionals who were not from the agricultural sector.
This journey lasted several months and involved multiple presentations to different investors. There was a lot of initial distrust, as many did not understand the land market, resulting in several refusals.
Despite the difficulties, Junior traveled to the United States, where he had lived for 16 years, to connect with a local businessman in Pittsburgh. After a long period of hard work and persistence, he managed to gain the trust of some investors who decided to support the project.
Currently, Independence Agriculture and Real Estate, Investment Business has 7 shareholders and has in its portfolio Tocantins Farm, a 69,189-acres property located in the state of Tocantins Brazil.
